Upcoming Training Sessions
The UMD Faculty Success team offers training sessions for faculty as they prepare for the annual activity reporting.
This half hour session will orient you to the research, instructional, service and public engagement activities managed in the system, identify the data areas auto-populated for you, walk through how to add and edit your activities, and report generation. It will also cover the goals and expectations for entering your data - both annual reporting and future potential uses.
Training sessions are being offered in the Spring semester. If you need assistance before then, contact the Faculty Success team
Sign up for a session at least 2 hours in advance using this Google Form.
The in-depth orientation video is another way to learn about platform use, integrated data, tracking your activities, time-saving tips, and goals and expectations for entering your data.
Publication Import to Faculty Success Workshop
A publication import workshop was conducted in Fall 2019 by the Libraries. The workshop was designed for faculty and staff members who need to track scholarly output in Faculty Success (named 'Activity Insight' at the time of the recording), with a particular focus on ensuring that publications from all platforms are documented in Faculty Success. The session covered the process of consolidating research publications and then importing those publications into Faculty Success. If you missed the workshop, please see the recording: Part 1, Using Zotero to Manage your Publication Citations.
