Faculty Activities Data: Telling Y(Our) Story

We have selected Activity Insight by Digital Measures as our faculty activities system to enable faculty and the University to promote and report faculty and campus accomplishments and activities. With the selection and procurement process now behind us, we are turning our attention toward a phased implementation process.

The initial launch in 2019 is with tenured/tenure-track faculty, with the goal of having these faculty use the platform for annual reporting in early 2020. The next phase, in 2020, will expand the use of the platform to all faculty.

Important News

We have been cleaning and importing your pre-2016 Lyterati data. The majority has been imported. Be aware that it is an imperfect data transfer. For this reason, we did not clean/import publications readily available through third-party citation/reference managers. You will get cleaner results through the Publications Import feature.

Additionally, while the Lyterati Presentations data has been loaded, we are continuing to clean the authors information on this screen. This will be completed by Fall 2019.

Activity Insight Proxy Access Permission Form

Faculty members can assign to other individuals the right to act as one-to-one delegates (i.e. serve as proxies) in Activity Insight. An individual assigned by a faculty member as one-to-one faculty delegate will have access to the faculty member's Activity Insight data, will be able to manage that data, and be able to run reports for that faculty member.

This form enables a faculty member to grant proxy access to a UMD employee to enter information and/or run reports on the faculty member's behalf.
