The Council of University System Faculty (CUSF) and its Structural Inequalities sub-committee would like to invite you to a Town Hall for USM faculty:

Although all USM institutions are committed to increase diversity in their campuses, there are still many obstacles that underrepresented minorities experience in academia. Existing inequalities often block opportunities for minority faculty to be hired, retained, and advanced, which is visible in their severe underrepresentation as faculty and administrators. In order to diversify the faculty, we need to understand the obstacles but most importantly, we need to be active participants in the creation of solutions. This town hall will focus on exploring solutions to existing inequalities in academia.

Dr. Kimberly Griffin (University of Maryland, College Park)
Dr. Ayanna Lynch (Bowie State University)
