A team of UMD students have formed a startup called WISE Cities, developing an accessible online platform offering local resources and opportunities for older adults. They are looking to understand if this platform could be useful for UMD community members. Their work has won social impact awards, garnered media attention, and earned them a funded partnership with the City of Fairfax.
