- Academic Administrators Orientation & Refresher: Multi-part series filled with need-to-know information for new department chairs/unit heads (held every July/August).
- Awards and Promotion Workshops: Informational sessions covering APT-AEP promotion and award nomination basics (offered throughout the academic year, see Events Calendar for details).
- Academic Leadership Forum: Conversations and learning opportunities for academic leaders across campus.
- Brave Conversations Intensive: Facilitated discussions that build skills for navigating challenging conversations and improving departmental climate (held in Fall and Spring).
- Department Executive Officer Seminar: Learn from Big Ten leadership professionals and colleagues tools and strategies for the newer department chair/unit head (applications accepted in Spring, seminar series held in the following Fall).
- Fearless Unit Leadership: Support for faculty leaders working to strengthen their departments or academic units.
- Faculty Search Coaches Program / Train-the-Trainer Course: Training for faculty involved in search committees to support equitable and effective faculty hiring.
