Visions of Campus: University of Maryland from 1856 to the Present
UMDRFA WebinarBrian Kelly, an architect and faculty member specializing in campus design and academic architecture, will recount the history of University of Maryland through the evolution of its campus, over more than 150 years.
Brian has worked as a campus design consultant to Ayers Saint Gross, Architects + Planners in Baltimore including projects at Harvard, U. of NC Chapel Hill, U. Georgia, Arizona State, and Notre Dame among others. He is currently researching and writing a book on the campus planning work of Jens Frederick Larson, an American architect who was instrumental in the development of campus planning as a distinct design discipline.

University Awards Information Session
The Office of Faculty Affairs will be hosting a virtual University Awards Information Session on March 25th at 12:00 PM. This session is designed to help administrators identify and nominate eligible faculty for University Awards, including the Distinguished Scholar Teacher, Distinguished University Professor, and Professional Track Faculty Excellence, among others.
Join us to learn about the nomination process, best practices, and award expectations. While open to all, this session is especially encouraged for those involved in the nomination process.
