Leave Benefits
- Annual and personal leave is available to appointees with a term of 10 or 12 months and FTE of 50% or greater.
- Creditable sick leave is available to appointees with FTE of 50% or greater.
- Non-creditable sick leave (i.e. collegially supported leave where colleagues of the disabled faculty member voluntarily take over classes & other essential duties.) is available to appointees whose appointment is for at least a year.
- Family and Medical Leave is available after at least 12 months of employment, and for appointees with 50% or more FTE.
- Jury Duty is available to all faculty.
- Leave without pay is available after at least 12 months of employment, for faculty employed full time on a contract that includes the term that the leave would cover.
