Capturing PTK Achievements in Faculty Reporting and Merit Processes

PTK faculty's activities and achievements often don't fit naturally into reporting structures built for TTK faculty, such as the Faculty Success portal and unit merit procedures. In this panel, we'll discuss strategies and share best practices for PTK faculty who want to make sure their achievements are recognized, and for unit merit committees who want to treat PTK faculty fairly. Our panelists include faculty from multiple colleges with many years of experience navigating these UMD systems, including their units' merit committees. Participants will get the most out of this session if they’ve already logged into the Faculty Success portal and started entering their activities, and/or have questions about the merit process in their department.
