The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering mourns the passing of Professor Emeritus Moon-Jhong Rhee.

Rhee joined the department in 1970 after receiving his Ph.D. in Space Science and Applied Physics from The Catholic University of America.  He remained with the department for his full career. He received his BS and MS degrees from the Seoul National University.
