Adding to the Calendar

The OFA Events Calendar is created with date items that have a special tag. It is automatically ordered by date and time, so if there should be a schedule change, the list will rearrange after the date is updated. 

To add a date item, choose it from Content -> Add content -> Date Item. Enter the item title. You don't need to use a sub title unless the title is very long. Choose OFA Events Calendar for the Date Item Type. You can type the date and time into the start and end fields; I find that is faster than trying to navigate the widgets with a mouse. Put the event description in the Notes-Details field. If the event is online, put Online in the location field; otherwise, enter the location. If there is a registration link, put the link in the Virtual Location URL field, and put something like "Registration Link" in the Link Text box. If there's a zoom link, you can put that in the Virtual Location field, or you can add it to the Notes-Details field.
