Faculty Forum - How We Work or…Why We Work the Way We Do

This Faculty Forum session continues an overview of how universities operate within a broader framework of governance. The forum will explore how federal and state laws, regulations, and executive actions influence higher education, and how these are translated into policies and procedures at the University System of Maryland and the University of Maryland.

The forum will also focus on UMD's organizational structure and divisions, as well as what moving from a faculty role into a leadership position means in practice.

The session will be presented by John Bertot, Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs.
