Choosing Between Articles and Pages
Since we are no longer using the Gutenberg page format, I have reimagined the differences between Articles and Pages. While you can choose whichever item seems best to you, here are some things to think about.
Articles
The Article content type may be considered as a building block for a page, if you link the article to a specific page. Articles can be tagged just like pages, and they allow you to link to a specific page. Articles also have an associated Text Type. If you want the article to be listed on the front page in the articles section, you would choose Front Page Article from the text type list. If you want the article to appear in the Faculty Success pages, choose Faculty Success Article. Page Block is the default value.
Articles also have a space to add an image, which will appear to the side of the article text.
Pages
A page is a simpler structure, intended just for text. Like articles, pages have a place to add an information tag. Adding the tag will make the page appear on the Topic Search page under the appropriate category.
