PTK Engagement in Shared Governance at UMD

Mar 7, 3:30 pm
- 4:20 pm
Session Theme
Engagement

PTK faculty are increasingly important stakeholders in a wide variety of contexts at the UMD.  They are also important advocates for other stakeholders including students, staff, and community members.  PTK engagement in shared governance at the UMD includes, but is not limited to, service in the UMD Senate, and on committees within one's home unit.  Plans of Organization also call for PTK representation on College Councils and other bodies.  Less formal ad hoc committees and working groups also need PTK perspectives.  The session moderator will engage the audience as well as the panelists in a discussion of important issues related to PTK engagement in shared governance at the UMD.
