Join our panel as we explore ways Professional Track Faculty seek advancement within the academy. Is academic leadership for me? For some, that is promotion through the faculty ranks to the highest level in a given category. For others, that means advancement into academic leadership positions such as department heads, assistant and associate deans, vice presidents, or higher. This interactive panel is designed to provide participants with insights into professional development opportunities that lead to career advancement in higher education. Panelists will share successful ways of leveraging experiences and expertise in ways that lead to leadership positions. Come discover strategies for career advancement and effective collaboration that will assist in making a lasting impact on higher education careers.
